"Chip" Scarborough graduated from UCLA in 1969 after having the great fortune to study with the likes of Jim Weeks, Sam Francis, Oliver Andrews John McCracken, Tony Berlant, Ed Ruscha and other luminaries of the sixties art scene in LA.
