This is another of my hand made creations. It is a wall hanging made of oak barrel wine staves and the metal band that was around the barrel. I took a wine stave off the barrel, sanded it again and again until the wood was smooth. Then I stained it and finished it with a satin urethane finish. I then took the barrel metal, cut it to size that I wanted. After that I had to turn the metal by hand with the help of a vice to make the curls.
